JEDDAH, Dec 14 (KUNA) -- Ambassador Sheikha Jawaher Ibrahim Al-Duaij Al-Sabah, the Assistant Foreign Minister for Human Rights, held talks on Sunday with the Director of the Bahraini Foreign Ministry's Human Rights Depatment, Ambassador Dr. Arwa Al-Sayed, on boosting cooperation in the human rights realm.
The talks between Sheikha Jawaher and Al-Sayed, also a member of the independent permanent Human Rights committee of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, were held on sidelines of the commission's 26th regular session that began at the OIC headquarters in Jeddah earlier today.
The two sides agreed on pursuing and boosting cooperation at the bilateral and international levels, Dr. Al-Sayed lauded the State of Kuwait's efforts at the humanitarian levels.
Meanwhile, Sheikha Jawaher held talks with the general director for women and human rights affairs at the Iranian foreign minister, on cooperation in the sector. (end) fn.rk
