KUWAIT, Feb 1 (KUNA) -- The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said the Sate of Kuwait strongly condemned the repeated deadly breaches by the Israeli occupation forces of the understandings on cessation of hostilities in Gaza Strip.
The persistence of the Israeli occupation forces in these violations pose a serious and direct threat to the humanitarian and political paths for calm in the region, the Ministry said in a press release on Sunday.
Those violations take place at a time which regional and international actors work together for implementing the roadmap of US President Donald Trump and the UN Security Council Resolution 2803, according to the statement.
The Ministry stressed the importance of commitment to the rules of the international law and the international humanitarian law, preparing the ground for a fair, comprehensive and permanent peace, and guaranteeing the Palestinian people's inalienable right to self-determination and statehood pursuant to the relevant UN Security Council resolutions and the Arab peace initiative.
