Health Authorities: 28 killed in Israeli occupation strikes on Gaza

GAZA, Jan 31 (KUNA) - Health authorities in the Gaza Strip announced on Saturday that the number of Palestinian fatalities since the early hours of the morning has risen to 28, with dozens of others suffering serious injuries following a series of intense airstrikes carried out by Israeli occupation warplanes.
Eyewitnesses told KUNA that Israeli aircraft launched heavy strikes at dawn on the Sheikh Radwan police center north of Gaza City, resulting in the deaths of 13 Palestinians, including members of the civil police force, among them women officers.
A number of people remain missing under the rubble.
The witnesses added that a separate strike targeted a metal workshop in the same area, killing three Palestinians and injuring others with varying degrees of wounds.
They further reported that Israeli warplanes struck a residential apartment near Al-Abbas junction west of Gaza City, killing five Palestinians, including two children and a woman, and injuring several others.
Another airstrike targeted a residential apartment in the Jabalia bus station area in central Gaza City, causing multiple civilian injuries, while Israeli aircraft also bombed a tent sheltering displaced persons in the city of Khan Younis in southern Gaza, killing seven members of a single family and wounding others.
Israeli bombardment continues across various parts of the Gaza Strip amid warnings from inside Al-Shifa Medical Complex of a potential rise in the number of fatalities and wounded in the coming hours, as military escalation persists alongside severe shortages in medical supplies and treatment capabilities.
