KUWAIT, Sept 4 (KUNA) -- Relations between Kuwait and the United States are deep-rooted since the United States became interested in the Arabian Gulf as being of a great importance.
Relations became stronger after US recognition of Kuwait as an independent country since September 22, 1961. Frequent visits by officials between the two countries started since then.
Friendship and cooperation ties between Kuwait and the US stabilized in all fields over the past 56 years reflecting the depth and strength of strategic partnership between the two countries.(end) khn.nhq
