PKK attack kills three Turkish soldiers SE Turkey

ISTANBUL, June 27 (KUNA) -- Three Turkish soldiers were killed Tuesday in an attack carried out by the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) in Sirnak province in southeastern the country, official media reported.
PKK gunmen targeted an army vehicle that was transporting supplies to a military base in Uludere district, wounding three soldiers as a result, Turkish security sources said, according to Anadolu Agency (AA).
The soldiers died from their serious wounds in the hospital to which they were transported, sources said, adding that the Turkish army is currently combing the area to arrest the perpetrators of the attack. (end) ta.ma
