Manchester mall reopened

LONDON, May 23 (KUNA) -- British police said Tuesday a shopping mall in Manchester has been reopened as there were no terrorist threats.
The mall had been evacuated, only hours after a suicide bomb targeting a concert in the area killed dozens of people.
The British police quoted eyewitnesses as saying that they heard a "big bank" at the shopping mall.
The Arndale shopping centre was cordoned off and evacuated on Tuesday morning (local time) as armed police had been deployed in the area.
A suicide attacker detonated an improvised explosive device (IED) in Manchester Arena, in Manchester city on Monday night, killing 22 people while injuring other 59, including children. (end) kd.mt
