Kuwait Chief of Staff visits Amiri Guard, reviews training, operational readiness

KUWAIT, Jan 8 (KUNA) -- Chief of the General Staff of the Kuwait Armed Forces, Lieutenant-General Khaled Al-Shuraian, visited the Amiri Guard on Thursday, where he was received by the Commander of the Amiri Guard, Major-General Bader Al-Sahloul, along with several Amiri Guard officers.
The General Staff said in a press statement that Lt. Gen. Al-Shuraian received a comprehensive briefing on the duties and responsibilities of the Amiri Guard, as well as training programs and development plans aimed at enhancing the capabilities and professionalism of its personnel.
Lt. Gen. Al-Shuraian praised the advanced performance and discipline of the personnel, noting that the nature of the Guard's duties requires high levels of efficiency, readiness, continuous training, and both mental and physical preparedness. (end) ajr.aa
