Muslim World League shows full solidarity with Syria

JEDDAH, July 15 (KUNA) -- Muslim World League (MWL) affirmed on Tuesday full solidarity with Syria, its government and people against all acts threatening the country's security, stability and sovereignty.
In a statement, the League expressed support to the Syrian government to protect all Syrian components, and maintain national peace and implement the rule of law.
It also stressed backing to the country to face seditions that might arise among Syrians and confront interference into the country's domestic affairs.
The League deplored Israeli occupation attacks on Syria's territories and its continued violations of all relevant international norms and laws.
Al-Sweida Governorate, south of the Syrian Damascus, witnessed over the past two days clashes among armed outlaw groups from the governorate and some surrounding areas, killing and wounding dozens of people. (end) fn.mmj.hm
