BEIRUT, July 15 (KUNA) -- The Lebanese Ministry of Public Health announced Tuesday that the death toll from Israeli occupation airstrikes on the Beqaa and Baalbek-Hermel governorates in northeastern Lebanon reached 12 dead, including 12 injuries.
In a statement, the Public Health Emergency Operations Center, an affiliate with the Ministry of Health, said that the airstrikes carried out by the occupation on the Wadi Faara area resulted in the deaths of 12 people, including seven Syrian and five Lebanese citizens, in addition to injuring three individuals.
It added that the morning airstrikes on the Beqaa and Baalbek-Hermel governorates resulted in injuries to nine citizens.
Israeli occupation forces continue to target towns, vehicles, and motorcycles in several areas, despite the ceasefire agreement that began on November 27 and the withdrawal of the occupation army from Lebanese territories, with the exception of several points along the southern border. (end)
