Lebanese President receives Kuwaiti First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior and his delegation
BEIRUT, July 14 (KUNA) -- Lebanese President Joseph Aoun received Kuwaiti First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Fahad Yousef Saud Al-Sabah and his accompanying delegation at the Presidential Palace in Baabda on Monday.
During the meeting, Sheikh Fahad Al-Sabah conveyed the greetings of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and his sincere wishes for the Lebanese Republic for continued security, stability and prosperity, stressing Kuwait's keenness to strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries in various fields.
The meeting addressed several regional and international topics of common interest, as well as ways to develop bilateral cooperation between the two countries' security agencies and exchange expertise in various fields.
Sheikh Fahad lauded the deep-rooted fraternal relations between Kuwait and Lebanon, stressing Kuwait's keenness to consolidate the bonds of cooperation and joint coordination. (end)
