WASHINGTON, March 1 (KUNA) -- US President Donald Trump said that 48 Iranian leaders were killed "all at once" during ongoing US and Israeli occupation military operations in Iran, now in their second consecutive day.
In an interview with Fox News, Trump said he knows the number of remaining targets in Iran that must be struck, confirming that "Operation Epic Fury" continues at "full speed."
Iran has reported the deaths of several senior leaders, including Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei and other prominent figures, including the commander of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps.
The US military, in coordination with Israeli forces, began strikes on Iran Saturday morning, following weeks of escalating tensions between Washington and Tehran and persistent US threats of military action. (end)
