Kuwait Amir receives call from UAE Pres.

KUWAIT, March 1 (KUNA) -- His Highness the Amir, Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, received a phone call Sunday from the President of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Mohammad bin Zayed Al-Nahyan.
During the call, the UAE President inquired about Kuwait, its leadership, and its people, while His Highness the Amir also expressed concern for the UAE and its citizens, following the recent Iranian attacks targeting both Kuwaiti and Emirati territories.
Both leaders strongly condemned the aggression, describing it as a blatant violation of the sovereignty of both countries, international law, and the United Nations Charter.
They emphasized that the attacks on Kuwait, the UAE, and other sisterly nations represent a serious escalation threatening regional security and stability. The two leaders reaffirmed their commitment to mobilize all resources to support regional security and stability, stressing the urgent need to halt escalation and return to dialogue and diplomatic solutions.
