Kuwait Army Chief checks on Ali Al-Salem injured personnel

KUWAIT, March 1 (KUNA) -- Chief of the General Staff of the Kuwaiti Army Lieutenant General Khaled Al-Shuraian visited Jaber Al-Ahmad Armed Forces Hospital on Sunday to check on personnel injured by falling shrapnel at Ali Al-Salem Air Base.
The injuries occurred as air defense forces engaged ballistic missiles and drones, the General Staff said in a statement.
During the visit, Lt. Gen. Al-Shuraian was briefed by medical teams on the condition of the injured and wished them a speedy recovery. (end) ahk.aai
