Bahrain intercepts new wave of Iranian ballistic missile attacks

MANAMA, March 1 (KUNA) -- The National Communication Center of Bahrain announced Sunday that the kingdom's air defense missile systems effectively intercepted a new wave of hostile Iranian ballistic missiles and drones targeting Bahraini territory, successfully destroying them with high efficiency.
The center explained in a statement that limited debris fell in some areas due to the interception operations, prompting the competent authorities to immediately carry out precautionary measures to ensure site safety and effectively manage any resulting consequences or hazards.
It affirmed that these attacks represent a violation of Bahrain's sovereignty and security, emphasizing that the safety and protection of citizens and residents remain the highest priority, with air defense systems maintained at full readiness twenty-four hours a day against all threats.
