Acting Director-General Shamlan Gehadely during signe an executive program between the governments of Kuwait and the UAE
KUWAIT, Jan 29 (KUNA) -- Kuwait's Public Authority for Industry signed on Thursday an executive program between the governments of Kuwait and the UAE regarding cooperation in the field of standardization for 2026, 2027 and 2028.
The program was signed during the sixth session of the Kuwaiti-UAE Joint Higher Committee meetings.
Speaking to KUNA, the authority's Acting Director-General Shamlan Gehadely said the move, which took place at the Kuwaiti Foreign Ministry's headquarters, comes in the context of promoting bilateral cooperative relations in vital fields.
During the meeting, both sides reviewed bilateral cooperation across various sectors and means to develop them in a way that serves the interests of both countries and their peoples.
He added that several agreements, MoUs and executive programs were signed during the committee meetings, reflecting both sisterly countries' commitment to cementing brotherly relations in various areas. (end)
