KUWAIT, Sept 24 (KUNA) -- Sabah Al-Ahmad Heritage Village continues to prepare for holding the National Heritage Festival early December, said the village's supervisor Mohammad Daifallah Sharar.
The festival will include competitions for camels, birds, horses and sheep, Sharar, also Amiri Diwan Advisor, told KUNA on Sunday. He added that registration for these competitions will begin mid November until the festival's launch.
The village will have new attractions this season, including an old Kuwaiti town with all details, the old walls of Kuwait and extra seating areas for visitors, he said.
Meanwhile, the official noted that the village also contains a large theater to host folkloric ceremonies and events, as well as a large children's playground with old and modern entertainment equipment.
It also includes restaurants, coffee shops, children's cinema, green spaces, lakes, a hotel and folkloric museums, said Sharar. (end) fsa.ag
