No information about possible chemical attack in Syria -- Russia

MOSCOW, June 27 (KUNA) -- Russia said on Tuesday that it possesses no information about possible chemical attacks on Syria.
"We do not rule out provocative operations but we have no information about prospected chemical attacks," said Presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov in a statement to Interfax news agency.
The so-called Islamic State and groups had used chemical arms in many offensives on Syrian territories, he said.
The United States, earlier, declared it has information about prospected chemical attack by Bashar Al-Assad's regime.
The Syrian regime was accused of launching attacks with such highly deadly ordnance in Syria in the past. (end) as.rk
