Hamas in Cairo for ceasefire talks in Gaza

CAIRO, Aug 12 (KUNA) -- A delegation of Palestine's Hamas arrived in Cairo on Tuesday for consultation on ceasefire talks in the besieged Gaza Strip, Egypt's local media reported.
The visit of Hamas delegation comes after a stalemate period of negotiations, AlQahera News channel said.
The talks in Cairo aims to push for resuming negotiations and make progress to reach a ceasefire deal, it reported.
Egypt, along with all parties, is making intensive efforts to overcome differences so as to reach a temporary truce in the Strip and to deliver humanitarian aid to its population, it said. (end) ams.hm
