Kuwaiti Deputy FM meets UNAMI deputy head

KUWAIT, Aug 9 (KUNA) -- Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Jarrah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah held talks with Deputy Special Representative of the UN Secretary-General for Iraq Claudio Cordone.
The meeting was held on Monday during a visit to Kuwait by Cordone, the deputy special representative for the political affairs and electoral assistance of the UN Assistance Mission for Iraq (UNAMI), the Kuwaiti Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a press release on Wednesday.
Sheikh Jarrah Jaber and Cordone discussed ways of cooperation between Kuwait and the UNAMI, according to the statement. (end) msa.gb
