Kuwait FM receives call from Arab League chief

KUWAIT, March 1 (KUNA) -- Kuwaiti Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Jarrah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah on Sunday received a call from Secretary-General of the Arab League Ahmad Aboul-Gheit, condemning the Iranian aggression on Kuwait and other countries in the region.
During the phone conversation, the Arab League's chief also underlined the right of the targeted countries to take all necessary measures to protect their sovereignty and territory, the Foreign Ministry said in a press release.
They also looked forward to working together to do everything that could contribute to promoting joint Arab action. (end) ns.mt
