UAE hosts 2nd round of Russia-Ukraine-US talks

ABU DHABI, Feb 4 (KUNA) -- The second round of trilateral talks between Russia, Ukraine and the United States kicked off in Abu Dhabi on Wednesday as part of ongoing diplomatic efforts to push forward the political way out of the crisis.
In a press release, the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that the UAE's hosting of the second round of talks reflects its firm and balanced relations with all three parties, as well as the international community's confidence in Abu Dhabi's role in facilitating dialogue and creating a congenial environment for constructive talks led by US President Donald Trump.
The ministry added that the launch of the second round shows the parties' continued commitment to the diplomatic process, hoping that it will build on the outcomes of the first round and lead to a further understanding.
