The MWL's Secretary General and Chairman of the Organization of Muslim Scholars Dr. Mohammad Al-Issa
RIYADH, Jan 15 (KUNA) -- The Muslim World League (MWL) strongly condemned on Thursday the storming of the Al-Aqsa Mosque by an Israeli minister and hundreds of settlers under the protection of Israeli occupation forces.
In a statement, the MWL's Secretary General and Chairman of the Organization of Muslim Scholars Dr. Mohammad Al-Issa said the act violates the sanctity of Islamic holy sites and provokes the emotions of Muslims worldwide.
He underscored the urgent need for the international community to take responsibility and confront serious violations committed by the Israeli occupation government across the occupied Palestinian territories. (end)
