Morocco crowned Arab Cup champions after epic final VS. Jordan

DOHA, Dec 18 (KUNA) -- Morocco's national football squad defeated Jordan 3-2 in an epic final of the FIFA Arab Cup Qatar 2025 on Thursday night.
The thrilling game, hosted at Lusail Stadium, went into extra-time after the original time ended in a 2-2 draw.
Oussama Tannane put the Atlas Lions in the lead with a long-range astonishing goal from the center circle as early as in minute 4.
The Jordanian made a strong comeback in the second half of the match with two successive goals in the 48th and 68th minutes.
Abderrazzaq Hamed Allah brought Morocco back to the game with a dramatic equalizer in minute 88; he had the last word by adding the final goal in minute 100.
The Moroccans roared to the title of the 11th edition of the Arab Cup, their second after the one they won in 2012.
The FIFA decided to cancel the third-place game between Saudi Arabia and the UAE earlier this evening due to heavy rains after the first half ended in 0-0 draw. (end) sss.gb
