Kuwait condemns attack on joint Syrian-US security patrol in Syria

KUWAIT, Dec 14 (KUNA) -- The Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Sunday expressed the State of Kuwait's condemnation of the terrorist attack against a joint Syrian-American security patrol near the Syrian town of Tadmor (Palmyra) on Saturday.
Several people were killed and wounded in the assault.
The Kuwaiti ministry affirmed in a statement that this criminal act constituted flagrant breach of the international law, threat to regional security and peace, renewing the robust rejection of violence, terrorism and criminal acts regardless of the motives and causes.
It expressed deep condolences to the victims' families, the US and Syrian governments, wishing the injured quick recovery. (end) nma.rk
