ABU DHABI, Dec 14 (KUNA) -- The United Arab Emirates (UAE) strongly condemned the "terrorist" attack that took place during a gathering in the Australian city of Sydney, resulting in the death and injury of several people.
In a statement issued on Sunday, the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed the country's strong denunciation of these criminal acts and its firm rejection of all forms of violence and terrorism aimed at undermining security and stability.
At least 12 people, including the attacker, were killed and 29 others wounded after a gunman opened fire on participants at a celebration attended by more than 2,000 people at Bondi Beach in eastern Sydney. (end)
