On this occasion, the administrative manager of Kuwait's equestrian delegation, Sufyan Buqammaz, described in a phone call with (KUNA) this achievement as historic, noting that it came after fierce competition. He praised the efforts made by Kuwait's riders during the preparation period, including training camps and full readiness of the horses.
Buqammaz affirmed that the Kuwait Equestrian Federation spared no effort in providing an ideal working environment for the riders as part of a comprehensive plan and clear strategy aimed at raising Kuwait's name high.
He stressed that the silver medal represents an important milestone for Kuwait's developing show-jumping program.
He extended his thanks to the country's political leadership for supporting Kuwaiti sport and athletes, and to the Public Authority for Sport for closely following the team and providing all forms of support.
