DOHA, Nov 25 (KUNA) -- Chairman of the Artificial Intelligence of Things Association Sheikh Mohammad Ahmad Al-Sabah, affirmed on Tuesday, the importance of participating in the Mobile World Congress (MWC25), hosted by Qatar over two days.
This came in a statement by Sheikh Mohammad to KUNA following his participation in the activities of MWC25, which is being held on November 25 and 26 at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center, under the patronage of Qatar's Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammad bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani.
Sheikh Mohammad stressed that holding the conference in Doha represents a pivotal moment for the region, saying, "Qatar's hosting of MWC25 is a strategic step towards strengthening the region's position as a global hub for digital innovation."
He expressed his pleasure that the Artificial Intelligence of Things Association (AAIOT) is part of this international movement that contributes to developing smarter, more resilient, and innovative environments.
He explained that his participation as Chairman of AAIOT comes within the association's efforts to enhance its international presence and build strategic partnerships that support Kuwait's digital transformation plans and the region's vision for a smarter and more prosperous future.
The Mobile World Congress (MWC25 Doha) is the first edition to be held in the Middle East and North Africa region, organized by the GSMA in partnership with the Qatari Ministry of Communications and Information Technology. The event brings together a global elite of digital leaders, policymakers, experts, innovators, and investors on an international platform focused on the future of connectivity, artificial intelligence, and digital infrastructure.
The conference features the participation of more than 300 international speakers and 250 global and regional companies, in addition to a high-level ministerial program and specialized meetings on artificial intelligence, next-generation networks, fintech, and satellites, along with the 4YFN platform for startups.
