KUWAIT, Nov 19 (KUNA) - The Third Marathon for Persons with Disabilities delivered a clear message that sport showcases potential and help integrate persons with disabilities into society.
The marathon, kicked off Wednesday, brought together participants from diverse categories, including individuals with autism, Down syndrome and intellectual disabilities, reflecting the determination and confidence.
The event also highlighted the support provided by families through encouragement and motivation, alongside the role of official bodies in organizing the race and ensuring safety, underscoring shared responsibility of empowering persons with disabilities and reaffirmed a collective commitment to inclusion.
