Minister of Amiri Diwan, Head of Crown Prince's Diwan meet US, Greek, Albanian, Palestinian envoys

KUWAIT, Sept 30 (KUNA) -- Minister of Amiri Diwan Affairs Sheikh Hamad Jaber Al-Ali Al-Sabah and Head of the Crown Prince's Diwan Sheikh Thamer Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah received Tuesday at Bayan Palace the Charge d'Affaires of the Embassy of the United States to Kuwait Steven Butler, who conveyed congratulations on their recent appointments.
During the meeting, the two sides reviewed the close historical relations between Kuwait and the US, affirming the strength of their strategic partnership and the commitment to further develop it in various fields.
Sheikh Hamad praised the United States' historic role in the liberation of Kuwait, expressing gratitude to its government and people, and welcomed President Donald Trump's peace plan aimed at ending the Gaza conflict, securing Palestinian rights, and enabling reconstruction.
They also received the Ambassador of Greece to Kuwait, Ioannis Plotas, where talks focused on aspects of bilateral cooperation and means to bolster them across different domains.
They further received the Ambassador of Albania to Kuwait, Ilir Husa, during which the two sides reviewed the solid relations between the two countries and explored opportunities for further development at all levels.
They also received the Ambassador of the State of Palestine to Kuwait, Rami Tahboub, and discussed the deep fraternal ties and ways to strengthen them in a manner that serves the interests of both sides and supports joint Arab action. Sheikh Hamad reaffirmed Kuwait's principled and unwavering support for the Palestinian people in their pursuit of legitimate rights, particularly the establishment of an independent state. (end) ahm
