Oman condemns plots to undermine Jordan's security, stability, sovereignty

MUSCAT, April 16 (KUNA) -- Oman strongly condemned, Wednesday, attempts to destabilize Jordan, voicing firm solidarity with its political leadership and people in safeguarding the nation's security, stability, and sovereignty.
In a statement, Omani Foreign Ministry said it had closely followed recent developments announced by the Jordanian authorities regarding foiling of plans aimed at undermining the country's security and sowing chaos and sabotage.
Oman lauded the vigilance and efficiency of Jordanian's security units and their efforts to counter threats and protecting the safety and well-being of citizens.
Jordanian security forces earlier announced they had thwarted schemes aimed at disrupting national security and stirring unrest across the country. (end) nfa.sar
