RIYADH, March 26 (KUNA) -- Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Jassem Al-Budaiwi on Wednesday denounced the Israeli occupation forces' aggression on Koya Town in Syria's Daraa Governorate, which claimed multiple casualties.
In a press statement, Al-Budaiwi said this aggression by Israeli occupation forces is a continuation of its aggressive attitude of destabilizing regional security and stability.
He underlined the significance of respecting Syria's sovereignty, independence and territorial integrity as a core pillar of regional and international security and peace, citing the final communique of the 163rd GCC ministerial meeting.
In this regard, the GCC chief called on the international community to take on its due responsibilities by stopping these recurrent Israeli aggressions on Syrian territories, and demanding the occupation to pull out of all occupied Syrian territories. (end) as.mt
