DOHA, March 22 (KUNA) -- Qatari Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammad bin Abdulrahman Al Thani discussed the latest developments in Lebanon with Lebanese Prime Minister Nawaf Salam on Saturday.
In a phone conversation, initiated by Sheikh Mohammad Al Thani, the two sides reviewed the violations by the Israeli occupation forces of the ceasefire agreement with Lebanon, according to a statement by the Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The Qatari Prime Minister condemned the Israeli airstrikes on southern Lebanon, stressing the need for all parties to adhere to the ceasefire and the Israeli occupation forces to withdraw from Lebanese territories.
The two sides also discussed lateral relations and ways to promote cooperation between their two countries. (end)
