GAZA, March 24 (KUNA) - Residents of Harat Azzaytoun, one of Gaza's oldest quarters, turned their neighborhood walls into colorful Ramadan theme murals to bring some cheer and joy to their sight, especially their children's, during the holy month.
Ramadan lanterns and greetings, Arabic calligraphy, and some verses from the Holy Quran were painted on the once war devastated walls.
Gaza's municipality helped by providing paint and art supplies while locals and artists recycled whatever materials they could find to create the murals. (end) wab.sa
