US confirms death of citizen in Iranian attack on Iraqi Kurdistan

WASHINGTON, Sept 29 (KUNA) -- The US confirmed on Thursday that an American citizen was killed in a rocket attack launched by Iran's Revolutionary Guard on Iraq's northern Kurdistan region a day prior.
"We want to reiterate that we condemn Iranآ’s violations of Iraqآ’s sovereignty and territorial integrity," State Department spokesperson Vedant Patel told reporters.
