CAIRO, Aug 2 (KUNA) -- Egypt's Suez Canal revenue reached USD 700 million in July, the highest monthly transit rate of 2,103 ships, as well as monthly net tonnage of 125.1 million tons, said Head of the Suez Canal Authority (SCA) Osama Rabie Tuesday.
The number of oil tankers increased by 60.2 percent, achieving a rise of monthly revenue of USD 153 million, he added.
In addition, the transiting rate of rose by 8.8 percent, which spiked revenue to USD 314 million. (end)
