Kuwait men's ice hockey tourney kicks off

KUWAIT, Oct 19 (KUNA) -- The Kuwaiti National Men's Ice Hockey League 2021-2022 opened at Kuwait Winter Games Club (KWGC) in Bayan area on Tuesday with five teams participating.
The 15-round tournament opens the club's new season of the game, KWGC Chairman Fheid Al-Ajmy told KUNA. The women's edition of the league will get underway next week with four teams competing, he pointed out.
The club will organize, for the first time, competitions of the game for three age categories - the mites, squirts and pewees, he added. (end) fsa.amh.gb
