CAIRO, Jan 31 (KUNA) -- The Egyptian Ministry of Health and Population confirmed on Sunday 533 new novel coronavirus (Covid-19) infections and 53 related deaths.
The figures took the country's tally to 165,951 infections and 9,316 deaths, the ministry's spokesman Dr. Khaled Mujahed noted in a press release.
Up to 343 patients have been discharged from hospitals, bringing the overall recoveries to 129,636, he added. (end)
