RABAT, Jan 1 (KUNA) -- The Moroccan Ministry of Health said Friday that 37 more people died from the novel coronavirus (Covid-19) and 1,777 others contracted the illness over the past 24 hours.
The figures pushed the overall tally to 7,425 deaths and 440,970 infections.
The recoveries surged by 2,134 to 409,638, the ministry said in its daily update, putting hospitalizations at 23,907, including 1,093 ICU occupants. (end)
