RABAT, Dec 18 (KUNA) -- The Moroccan Ministry of Health on Friday reported 50 mortalities from the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) and 2,647 more infections in the past 24 hours.
After Friday's figures, the death toll from the virus climbed to 6,854 and the overall infections to 412,393, the Ministry said in its daily press report.
However, some 2,727 people recovered from the disease in the same period, taking the tally to 372,725, with a recovery rate of 90.4 percent, it added.
It noted that 32,814 cases are still receiving treatment at hospitals.
Up to 1097 patients, including 95 on respirators, are at ICUs, it pointed out. (end)
