Morocco, Saudi Arabia stress exceptional bilateral ties

RABAT, July 29 (KUNA) -- Morocco and Saudi Arabia, on Wednesday, stressed the exceptional bilateral relations between the two countries, affirming the common views on different global and regional cases.
This came during a joint press conference following bilateral talks between the Moroccan Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation today in Rabat with Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al-Saud.
The Saudi minister said that his meeting with his Moroccan counterpart was an opportunity to discuss ways to develop historical ties between the two sister kingdoms, considering that his visit to Morocco reflects a common emphasis on keenness to develop exceptional relations for the benefit of the two countries.
Prince Faisal stressed that the meeting reflected the harmony in the visions between the two countries, especially in light of the challenges facing the Arab world, including foreign interference, terrorism, and destabilization of security and stability in the region.
For his part, the Moroccan minister described the relationship with Saudi Arabia as excellent and exceptional in all fields, saying that the discussions with his Saudi counterpart included regional and international situations, whether in the Middle East or North Africa.
He affirmed that Morocco clearly supports all decisions and positions taken by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to maintain its security and sovereignty. (end) jn.aa
