RAMALLAH, July 5 (KUNA) -- The Palestinian Ministry of Health announced Sunday a new fatality from the novel coronavirus (Covid-19) and 264 more infections.
A woman, in her 70s, died from the respiratory illness in Al-Fawwar refugee camp near Al-Khalil (Hebron) city in the West Bank, bringing to 20 the death toll.
Of the new infections, 216 cases were registered in Al-Khalil Governorate which brought the Covid-19 caseload in Palestine to 4,722, according to a press release from the ministry.
Nine patients have recovered taking the overall recoveries to 665, the statement added. (end)
