KUWAIT, Dec 26 (KUNA) -- Al-Jahra Governorate is considered as a green oasis suitable for farming various vegetables and plants due to its fertile soil and the abundancy of water, which is now invaded by modern constructions.
Farms and palm trees were all over the region, and the markets of local agricultural products were ever present and vibrant; however, the expansion of the city and modern constructions took over large areas, threatening to natural beauty of the governorate. (end) gk.tab.hs
