Shooter Al-Rashidi secures berth in Tokyo 2020 Olympics

KUWAIT, April 16 (KUNA) -- Kuwaiti skeet shooter Mansour Al-Rashidi said on Tuesday that the gold medal he clinched at the World Shooting Championship and his subsequent qualification for the Tokyo 2020 Olympics is an unprecedented accomplishment.
In a statement, he attributed his success to the overwhelming support he has received from the Kuwaiti Shooting Federation, citing the "stiff competition" he had to contend with on his way to victory.
He went on to dedicate his win to Kuwait's political leaders, thanking everyone who contributed in any way to his huge achievement.
