Pompeo, Bahraini CP discuss bilateral, regional issues

WASHINGTON, Nov 14 (KUNA) -- US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo spoke today with Bahraini Crown Prince Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa during which they discussed bilateral and regional issues, it was announced Wednesday.
State Department Spokesperson Heather Nauert said in a statement that Pompeo and the Crown Prince discussed "the importance of reaching a political solution in Yemen." The statement added that they also discussed "countering the Iranian regime's malign influence in the region, and other bilateral and regional issues." (end) si.ibi
