KUWAIT, Sept 24 (KUNA) -- The volume of trade exchange between Kuwait and Denmark reached USD 142 million in 2017, said The Kuwait Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) on Monday. This came during Director of Foreign Relations Department of the Kuwait Chamber of Commerce and Industry Salah Eyadah's statement after receiving Danish economy delegation, including representatives of companies operating in the oil and gas sectors.
This visit will contribute to enhancing trade and investment relations between the two countries, Eyadah said.
KCCI plays a major role in the development of economic and trade relations with Denmark, said the Head of Trade Department of the Danish embassy in Riyadh and head of the delegation Ture Vahan Munksgaard, during the meeting, which also included representatives of Kuwaiti companies.
The Danish companies are looking forward to cooperate with a number of Kuwaiti companies in the field of oil and gas, Munksgaard said. Adding there are many promising opportunities of excellent investment feasibility in Denmark in various fields.
The Danish delegation also presented presentations on the services of Danish companies and their products followed by bilateral meetings with Kuwaiti companies to discuss ways of cooperation and possible bilateral partnerships. (end) fnk.ht.ss
