Obama discusses Greek economic reform with Hollande

WASHINGTON, June 30 (KUNA) -- US President Barack Obama spoke with French President Francois Hollande late on Monday and discussed the possibility of Greece falling defaulting on its loan with the IMF.
During the call, "the two leaders agreed on the importance of restarting work to reach agreement on a package of reforms and financing that will allow Greece to return to growth and debt sustainability within the Eurozone," indicated a White House statement.
Both leaders indicated that they have economic teams that are monitoring and in contact with Greece and other financial markets.
President Obama also offered his condolences to France for the terrorist attack that occurred near Lyon last week. (end) ak.hb
