Pakistani President Pervez Musharraf arrives in Saudi Arabia
RIYADH, Nov 20 (KUNA) -- Pakistani President Pervez Musharraf arrived Tuesday in Saudi Arab on an official visit.
Upon arrival, he was received by Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Saud Al-Faisal, General Intelligence chief Prince Muqrin bin Abdulaziz, a number of local officials and Pakistani Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Shahid Karimullah.
During the visit, Musharraf will discuss with Saudi King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz overall regional and international developments, as well as bilateral ties and means of boosting them.
Musharraf is also expected to outline to the monarch Pakistan's situation and overall efforts to reach a political settlement with Pakistani opposition.
News reports noted today the possibility of holding talks between Musharraf and exiled former Pakistani Premier Nawaz Sharif who is residing in Saudi Arabia.
