Islamic Organization for Medical Sciences calls for establishing info
centers
KUWAIT, Dec 27 (KUNA) -- The Islamic Organization for Medical Sciences has
called for the establishment of information centers in the Islamic countries
to collect data and spread renewed statistics from their original sources on
family health.
The Kuwait-based organization said in a statement on Friday it is important
to establish institutes or maternity complexes that include various services
thet best serve the mother health according to a practical scientific method.
It also stressed the importance of conducting field researches in which
scholars and experts take part to get acquainted with the dangers encountering
the Muslim mother and child.
Head of the organization Dr. Abdelrahman Al-Awadhi said that motherhood in
the Islamic society encounters many problems including rising faternity rate
due to lack of medical, social, nutritious and cultural services.
He added that all these problems could be averted if medical and preventive
means have been facilitated. (end)
