MCVEIGH CONSIDERED ASSASSINATING RENO, OTHER OFFICIALS WASHINGTON, APRIL 27 (KUNA) -- TIMOTHY MCVEIGH, THE OKLAHOMA CITY BOMBER, HAD ONCE CONSIDERED ASSASSINATING FORMER JUSTICE SECRETARY JANET RENO, A FEDERAL JUDGE AND AN FBI AGENT BEFORE DECIDING TO BOMB THE FEDERAL BUILDING IN 1995. "I CONSIDERED, AMONG OTHER THINGS, A CAMPAIGN INDIVIDUAL ASSASSINATION," MCVEIGH TOLD FOX NEWS IN AN EXCLUSIVE LETTER. MCVEIGH, 33, SAYS THAT HE WANTED TO ASSASSINATE RENO TO MAKE HER ACCEPT "FULL RESPONSIBILITY IN DEED, NOT JUST WORDS." THE LETTER WAS ADDRESSED TO FOX NEWS SENIOR CORRESPONDENT RITA COSBY. MCVEIGH, DUE TO BE PUT TO DEATH BY LETHAL INJECTION ON MAY 16, SAID HE WAITED FOR THE AMERICAN JUSTICE SYSTEM TO "CORRECT THE ABUSE OF POWER" BY THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT IN INCIDENTS LIKE THE RAID ON RUBY RIDGE AND WACO.
