Kuwait PM checks on medicine stock

KUWAIT, March 2 (KUNA) -- His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, accompanied by Minister of Health Dr. Ahmad Al-Awadhi, on Monday paid an inspection tour of the Health Ministry's warehouse of medicines and medical supplies.
During the tour, His Highness the Prime Minister checked on the country's strategic drug stock and the health system efficiency and preparedness to address different circumstances and emergencies.
Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah also listened to an explanation from relevant officials about storing and distribution mechanisms and control systems to ensure that drugs are available and plans in place to answer the medicine needs and boost the strategic drug stock. (end) mt
